School of Indian Legal Thought, Mahatma Gandhi University, was established in 1989 to impart an integrated legal education with unique programs for Under-Graduate, Post-Graduate, and Research levels.

About the Conference

The School of Indian Legal Thought is organizing an International Conference on the topic of evolving jurisprudence of freedom as a right in the modern era and this seminar seeks to provide a platform for sharing and exchanging ideas, thoughts, and perspectives stimulating an intellectual, revitalized, and knowledge-based discussion of the theme.

  • Freedom of marginalized and disadvantageous.
  • Freedom of minors.

Formatting Guidelines

  • The length of the full paper including Footnotes shall not be less than 3,000 words and shall not exceed 5000 words.
  • The paper should be typed in Times New Roman 12-point font with 1.5 line spacing.
  • The Footnotes shall be typed in Times New Roman 10-point font with I-line spacing.
  • Footnoting should be done according to Bluebook 20th Edition.

The participants shall submit their abstracts through the mail at siltinternationalseminar@gmail.com.

Registration Fees

  • UG & PG Students: 600 (INR) or 8 (USD).
  • Research Scholars: 800 (INR) or 10 (USD).
  • Others (Academicians/Experts/Lawyers/Judicial Officers): 1000 (INR) or 12 (USD).
