First-Day Formalities, Infrastructure, First Impression
There was a welcome call conducted by the Firm to orient the interns to the work culture and other details of the internship. It was a virtual internship, so I could not visit the office in person.
Main Tasks
My work was not restrictive in nature, I got various tasks which included proofreading of agreements and other documents, drafting LoA, sale deed, and private trust deed and researching under various legislations.
Work Environment
It was an extremely conducive and healthy working environment. Every mentor was very patient and understanding with me and ensured that I am familiar with the work that has been assigned to me.
Everyone explained all the tasks in a simple manner to ensure more efficiency and also provided relaxed deadlines in most cases.
Good things
There was diversity in the work assigned. I got to learn a lot from a practical point of view and I also got timely feedback on my work.
My mentor helped me with my technical queries and ensured I had conceptual clarity about the concepts in the tasks assigned by the end of the internship.
Bad things
There were no bad experiences in this internship.

Not applicable, since interned virtually.

I got a better understanding of the practical and commercial aspects of law, and also the work culture in full-service law firms.
