Name of the Student

Anonymous

Name and Address of the Organization

ubAdvocate, under the guidance of Jeevan Prakash Advocate Supreme Court of India (Virtual)

Duration of Internship

1 month

How did you Apply?

I applied through a google form that was provided by one of my friends. The link for the same is posted on the LinkedIn account of ubAdvocate.

First Day Formalities, Infrastructure, First Impression

I received a mail with a set of instructions that to be done for the commencement of the internship and needed to join the telegram group through which I can post my queries to them.

Main Tasks

My main tasks were watching the videos of Jeevan Prakash on different topics and through that giving my opinion on a particular fact or case. They were some tasks that taught me various client counselling methods as well. I had to complete the task with a minimum word count of 300.

Work Environment

The work environment was flexible as I could complete my task at my own suitable time. As it was a virtual internship my contact with other interns was very limited.

For any queries, I could post on the group, to which their team would enquire regarding it.

Good things

The good thing about the internship was that it provided me with the opportunity to improve my writing skills and gain knowledge about different legal issues that are prevalent in society.

It helped me in spreading legal awareness, find legal solutions, and sharpen my writing skills.

Bad things

Due to the virtual mode of internship at ubAdvocate, my interactions with the team were limited and there was no interaction with other interns.

Stipend

No stipend was provided.

Other Details

I learned a lot about the legal issues that people face and the remedies for them. The internship helped me in learning about client counselling.

The internship also helped me in skills like finding legal solutions, advising moot clients, experiencing client counselling, sharpening my writing & communication skills, spreading legal awareness, and making videos on legal topics.
