About the Workshop

A career in academia is one of the most lucrative professions open to law students. Students who find themselves interested in exploring the in-depth details of a concerned subject and having a penchant for research often find this a suitable career path. To present forth a narrative of working in academia first-hand, IDIA Assam Chapter is hosting this workshop to help us put our thoughts and ideas into action.

The principal objective of the Workshop is for the students to better understand the nuances of a career in academia, and to make them informed about the various compartments in academia, besides UGC-NET, and how they can land a profession of their interest, especially abroad.

  • Early Research Career in Academia: An Overview
