IBPS PO Mains Exam Pattern
The IBPS PO Mains exam consists of two papers — Objective and Descriptive. Candidates will be allotted three hours to solve the objective paper and 30 minutes for the descriptive paper. The maximum marks allotted for the objective paper are 200 and the descriptive paper carries 25 marks.
According to the IBPS PO Exam Pattern of the IBPS PO Mains exam, the total marks allotted for this exam are 225. The total duration of the Mains exam is three hours and 30 minutes. The descriptive paper consists of two questions — essay and letter-writing. The topics usually given for essay and letter writing are generic and based on general awareness.

Candidates appearing for the IBPS PO Mains 2021 exam must abide by the following guidelines on the exam day.
● Candidates must carry a printed copy of their IBPS PO Mains admit cards/call letters along with photo-identity proof (original and photocopy) to the examination centre.
● Candidates must also carry their passport size photographs to the exam centre.
● Wearing a mask/face shield is mandatory for the candidates appearing for the exam.
● Candidates must follow all the Covid-19 protocols and social distancing norms inside and outside the examination hall.
● Candidates can carry a small transparent bottle of sanitiser to the exam hall.
