Ahmedabad (Gujarat) [India], April 17 (ANI): Rajasthan Royals (RR) Shimron Hetmyer completed 1,000 runs in his Indian Premier League (IPL) career on Sunday.

The explosive power-hitting batter reached this milestone during his side’s IPL 2023 match against Gujarat Titans at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

In the match, Hetmyer turned the game on its head with an explosive knock of 56* in just 26 balls. His inning had two fours and five sixes and runs came at a strike rate of 215.38. It proved to be match-winning innings for RR, which was struggling at one point.
