UP: NSA invoked against prime accused in kidnapping of businessman

Bulandshahar (UP), Dec 31 (PTI) The district administration has slapped the stringent National Security Act (NSA) against a prime accused in a kidnapping case of a businessman here, officials said on Saturday.

District Magistrate of Bulandshahar Chandra Prakash Singh told PTI that NSA has been imposed against Sohil Sisodia.

The addition of the NSA makes it difficult for an accused to get bail from the court.

According to police officials, Sisodia is the main accused in the case of the kidnapping of a 67-year-old trader Rajkumar from Khurja area.

In October, police managed to rescue the businessman within 24 hours and arrested five people including Sisodia in connection with the case.

Besides this, Sisodia has over half a dozen cases lodged against him in separate police stations of Bulandshahar and Gautam Buddha Nagar districts, police sources said. PTI COR CDN NB NB
