EDTECH company White Hat Jr. announced a collaboration with satellite company “EnduroSat”. The collaboration will facilitate applied science opportunities wherein students will be able to operate satellites in space, as well as access data.
The contract between the two parties entails a satellite launch in December 2021, The satellite will have a dedicated payload to WhiteHat Jr. This will provide its students with new, and exciting learning opportunities related to space science.
In addition, students of WhiteHat Jr will also have access to one more satellite (on a trial basis), which is scheduled for launch in June 2021. Both satellites will leverage the SpaceX Falcon 9 rideshare, with over 30 sensors onboard each satellite.
WhiteHat Jr claims to have more than 175,000 students the world over, and 11,000 women-only teacher workforce.
