Homversity is an organization providing a single, online, and dynamic platform catering to the major needs of any college student. A digital ecosystem that aims to support the 93 BN USD student housing & Co-living industry in India, has raised $155k in its another round of fundings. This round is led by Shuru-Up and a consortium of their Syndicates including Growth-Sense, ValCreators, BeyPar Innovations LLP and Mercury Angel Investors like Asit Oberoi also took part in this funding round.
Homversity started in 2017 as a college project in a hostel room in Dehradun by Saurav Kumar Sinha, who faced the problem firsthand of finding and booking a student home/hostel in an easy and effective way, with no hidden policies, brokerage, or hidden charges while in college. The aim was to create a verified ecosystem which would organize India’s multi-billion dollar and rapidly growing student housing market, solving the misrepresentation and mismanagement of data when it comes to long duration stays focused on students.
Homversity will be utilizing the funds for upgrading their technology on all ends, hiring new talents, and expanding services nationwide to over 100 cities.

July 2021, Homversity also received a major grant of 30,00,000 INR from the IC (Industries Commissionerate) Government of Gujarat supported by the LJ’s Startup Incubation Cell “Antrapreneur”, to expand their services and offering in the state. Homversity has also raised another $135K pre-seed funding in 2019 by the La-Gajjar Group in Gujarat.
Till now, Homversity has presented & won at several national and international events and are on their way to become the go to platform when it comes to searching and booking a hostel/PG.
