Prawn 65 Recipe with step by step pictures. This is made with Prawns and Masala. Prawn 65 makes a perfect Appetizers and this is easy to make as well.

Prawn 65

Shrimp | Prawn is hubby’s favourite. Since many of my viewers have told me that i don’t have much prawn recipes in my blog. I have started cooking with them and posting here.

This is a very famous recipe which we order often when we dine in any restaurant. It is spicy, crispy and hot. Love it with a bowl of soup or with some ketchup..

Ingredients for Prawn 65 Recipe

  • Prawns – 20
  • Salt to taste
  • Turmeric Powder / Manjal Podi – 1 tsp
  • Oil for deep frying
For Marinating:
  • Chilli Powder – 2 tsp
  • Garam Masala Powder – 2 tsp
  • Ginger Garlic paste – 1 tbsp
  • Lemon Juice – 2 tbsp
  • Cornstarch / Cornflour – ¼ cup or as needed
  • Coriander leaves – 2 tbsp finely chopped
  • Curry leaves – 1 sprig torn into small pieces
  • Salt to taste
  • Water few spoons if needed

How to make Prawn 65 Recipe

  1. Mix prawns with salt and turmeric powder. Set aside for 10 mins.
  2. Add it to a pot and keep cooking it for 2 to 3 mins untill the raw smell leaves from it and it is half way cooked. Now remove it to a bowl and let it cool down.
  3. Now add in all the other ingredients and mix well. Leave it for 5 mins.
  4. Deep fry in oil till crispy.
  5. Drain and serve.

Take prawns in a bowl

season with little salt

add in turmeric

mix well and set aside for few minutes
