Call for Chapters: Edited Book on International Law by Dr. Namita Vashishtha and Mr. Shourie Anand Singh: No Fees, Submit by Feb 28

Dr. Namita Vashishtha and Mr. Shourie Anand Singh are inviting submissions for their Edited Book on International Law.

About the Editors

Dr. Namita Vashishtha is an Assistant Professor of International Law and Comparative Labour and Wage Law at Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. Her areas of interest are International Law, Industrial Laws, Criminal Law and Media Laws. She is a Ph.D in International Law and Human Rights. She has authored two books among many other research papers.

Mr. Shourie Anand Singh is an Assistant Professor at Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. His areas of interest are International Law, Interpretation of Statutes and Jurisprudence. He has worked on government sanctioned projects like Functioning of Gram Nyalayas, Khap Panchayat and has presented papers at various forums.

About the Event

Contemporary Developments in the field of Air and Space Laws and the use of newly recognized Artificial Intelligence in the field of International Criminal Justice System pose a unique challenge to scholars of International Law. The Singapore Convention on Mediation has entered into force. Neoteric political events around the world call for revisiting of the well settled principles of international law. Issues of accessibility and implementation of Human Rights to the disadvantaged remain a concern especially after the Afghanistan crisis.

The COVID Pandemic has thrown the world economy off balance. Name an area of human life and the presence of international law can be felt. Covid-19 pandemic has brought us face to face with the increased need for international co-operation. The world scene changed drastically. This dynamism of International Law makes it imperative for both scholars and the students alike to keep themselves abreast of the latest developments.

Eligibility

Academicians, Scholars, Legal Practioners and Students of International Law

Submission Procedure

  • Each contributor is required to submit an abstract, of not more than 500 words along with 5 keywords, on or before 28th February, 2022. Authors/Contributors should provide their contact details, designation and institutional affiliation in the covering letter for the submission.
  • The selected contributors are required to submit Full Chapter on or before 15th April, 2022. Each Submission will go through a Blind Peer Review Process before selection.
  • The word limit for chapter is 5000-7000 words (inclusive of footnotes). Upon Selection, each contributor is required to submit an anti-plagiarism declaration/certificate stating that his/her paper is original and bona fide piece of research and has not been published or being considered for publication elsewhere.
  • Manuscripts should be submitted in Times New Roman, with Font size 12, line spacing 1.5’; justified, with sufficient margins of 1.5’ to the left and 1.0’ on all sides.
  • Footnotes must be in Font 10 and conform to the Blue Book; Rules of citation (Latest Edition).
  • Co-authorship is permitted to the maximum of two authors.
  • Abstract and subsequent Full-length paper (soft copy) must be sent via e-mail to lawofnations2021@gmail.com

Note: No fees will be charges at any stage, i.e., registration, submission, publication, etc.

Publication

The selected papers shall be published in a book by Reputed International/National Publication with ISBN number.
