About NUJS Law Review

The NUJS Law Review is the flagship journal of the National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata. It was launched in 2008 as a quarterly law review and is run by a Board of Editors comprising of six Editors, who report to the Editor-in-Chief is the Vice Chancellor.

About the Call for Papers

NUJS Law Review is inviting submissions for its Special Issue on Disability Law and Disability Rights Movement, submit by May 31.

Theme

The theme is – Disability Law and Disability Rights Movement.

Submission Guidelines

  • All submissions must be accompanied by a covering letter indicating the name of the author, the title of the submission and the email address of the author.
  • The submissions will be reviewed and edited by the Editorial Board under the supervision of the Editor in Chief.
  • The NUJS Law Review accepts submissions in the following categories:
    • Articles: 6,000 word minimum
    • Note: 4,000 – 6,000 words
    • Book Reviews: 2,000 – 4,000 words (only through solicitation)
  • All word limits are exclusive of footnotes
  • The journal is flexible on the word count depending on the quality of the submission.
  • Referencing and citations must be in conformity with the NUJS Law Review Citation and Style Standard.
  • Submissions must necessarily contain an abstract of not more than 200 words.
  • Authors must indicate their academic qualifications including the degrees completed and the name of the university/institution to which they are affiliated.
  • Co-authoring of papers among individuals of the same or different institutions is permissible.

Formatting Guidelines

  • The submission must be word-processed and in Times New Roman.
  • The main text should be in font size 12 and the footnotes in font size 10.
  • A one-line gap must be maintained between all paragraphs and headings.
  • All paragraphs must begin with a one-inch indent.
  • All hyperlinks must be in black colour and must not be underlined.
