Collegium recommends names of 5 additional judges of Calcutta High Court to be made permanent judges

The decision to this effect was taken pursuant to a meeting of the Collegium held on April 19.

The following are the judges whose name have been approved for appointment as permanent judges:

1. Justice Kesang Doma Bhutia;

2. Justice Rabindranath Samanta;

3. Justice Sugato Majumdar;

4. Justice Bivas Pattanayak; and

5. Justice Ananda Kumar Mukherjee.
