A Division Bench of Acting Chief Justice Manmohan and Justice Manmeet Pritam Singh Arora, while dismissing the PIL, asked whether the Court should issue directions to provide sewage facilities if someone encroaches on the High Court land tomorrow.
“Tomorrow someone will encroach on High Court land, are we going to provide them sewage facility? You have no respect for any law,” the Court remarked.
It said that remedies like writ petition cannot be used by encroachers of government land.
