Justice Nambiar was born in Kannur district in 1927. After completing his bachelor’s degree in law from the University of Madras, he enrolled as a lawyer and started practicing before the Madras High Court.
After shifting his practice to Kerala, he served as the Advocate General from 1981 to 1983.
He was elevated as a judge of the High Court in 1983.
After his retirement in 1989, he practiced law before the Supreme Court for a few years in the early 90s.
