About Rajasthan School of Law for Women, Jaipur
Rajasthan School of Law for Women, Jaipur is approved by the Bar Council of India and affiliated to Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar Law University, Jaipur. The prime objective of the college is to produce professional lawyers with operative, substantive and procedural legal skills.
About the Competition
Rajasthan School of Law for Women in Association with the Rajasthan Human Rights Commission is organizing an inter-college debate competition on December 10, 2022.
The objective of this competition is to inculcate a healthy debate culture amongst students and contrive them to defend what they stand for. The debate competition aims to provide the students with an opportunity to learn and experience the art of debating.

Topic
- Preliminary Round – Status of Human Rights in India
- Final Round – Incorporation of Human Rights in the Indian Constitution and its Efficacy
Eligibility
- Members of the team must be valid Undergraduate students pursuing a recognized Bachelor of Law program.
- (Note – Bachelor of Law means a 3-year or 5 years integrated course in Law recognized by the Bar Council of India).
General Rules
- The Speakers shall not disclose their identities and shall only represent themselves by the Team Codes allotted to them. Team codes shall be provided to each team after a successful registration.
- The competition shall consist of 2 rounds i.e. Preliminary and Final.
- It is mandatory to keep your college ID cards with you at the time of the debate competition.
- The use of foul or obscene language will lead to disqualification.
- No book, document or electronic gadget shall be allowed to the participant during the competition.
- Decisions made by the panel of Judges will be final and binding.
- The decision taken by the Organizers shall be final.
- Reporting time would be shared on the WhatsApp group after registration.

How to Register?
- Interested participants can register through the link provided at the end of the post.
- The Composition of the team cannot be changed once a team has registered.
- Upon successful submission of the Registration form, the teams will receive an email from the Organizers, providing them with their Team Code and informing them of their successful Registration.
- If teams do not receive such an email, they may contemporaneously send an email with its registration details to [email protected] or directly contact the members of the organizing committee.

- Best Speaker FOR the Motion: Cash Prize and Certificate
- Best Speaker AGAINST the Motion: Cash Prize and Certificate
- Appreciation Reward: Cash Prize and Certificate
- A cash prize worth Rs. 10,000/- would be awarded.
Note: Certificates will be provided to all the participants.
