First-Day Formalities, Infrastructure, First Impression

  • On the first day, my advocate taught me about Saket court and the very basic rules and regulations of courts and he tested my knowledge about law.
  • My first-day impression was great. Since everything was so simple in the beginning, I could easily understand his words.

Main Tasks

I did my internship in the first year so there was nothing like a task because in the first year, we mostly study BA subjects. So at that time, I didn’t know much about law. That’s why my lawyer didn’t give me any work, he just used to teach me more and more about the law.

Work Environment

The work environment was a little harsh for me because it was my first experience in court, before that, I never visited any court so Things were a little harder for me. But day by day I started meeting other lawyers and started interacting with other interns. This thing was very helpful for me to get comfortable in court and this thing completely changed my court environment Because everyone had become friendly to me.

Good things

The good thing was that my lawyers always tried to give me technical advice when there was another case coming up in court. He was a very outgoing person and always tried to make me feel comfortable in the courtroom by taking me with him during the hearings

Bad things

The bad thing is that I was in the first year, and during this time I did not understand the cases as they were criminal cases I did not even study criminal law at that time, so I used to face a lot of trouble to understand the sections.

I didn’t get to know about the cases, and I couldn’t learn much in front of them, due to which my experience was also a bit bad. I got the experience of court hearing, it would have been easier for me if I was in the third year.

Stipend

My internship was unpaid internship so there was nothing like a stipend.
