About the Organization

Sahas Foundation is a youth-led organisation founded in 2016 that works with the vision to create a world free of gender-based violence. We work primarily with adolescents on the issues of gender, sexuality, mental health and challenging gender-based violence.

We also engage with young people, women, teachers, parents, and social activists to build a gender-inclusive society. We have worked in 8 states of India in collaboration with Government Schools, grassroots organisations, Government bodies, and Education Institutions. Currently, we are working in New Delhi and Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh.

Any young person who is curious to learn contributes to the welfare of people from low socio-economic backgrounds and has creative ideas to bring social change.

Stipend

This is an unpaid opportunity. Sahas will provide you with a certificate of appreciation and letter of recommendation, and you will also participate in capacity-building workshops on gender, mental health, and rights.

Duration of Internship

2 weeks to 2 months (Summer Internship)
