JOB POST: Law Researcher at IP Division, Delhi High Court [Salary at least Rs.65k per month]: Apply by Dec 31

Applications are invited in the Intellectual Property Division of the Delhi High Court purely on a contractual basis.

About the Intellectual Property Division

The IPD is an exclusive division of the High Court dedicated to the adjudication of disputes relating to intellectual property rights. The IPD also adjudicates matters that have been transferred from the erstwhile Intellectual Property Appellate Board (IPAD).

Role

  • Adjudicates matters which arise out of traditional intellectual property rights statutes such as The Patents Act 1970, The Copyright Act 1957, and The Trademarks Act 1999 among others.
  • Closely works with Judges belonging to the IPD in order to assist them in the adjudication of disputes.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare a brief on the technical aspects involved in the given cases.
  • Comparative analysis indicates the state of the industry within which a given dispute needs to be adjudicated.

Qualification

A degree in the technical field or specialisation in any IPR subject matter or a graduate with a law degree, and have an experience for at least 2 years in IPR.

Remuneration

At least Rs. 65,000 per month.
