Sibal is contesting for the post after more than two decades. He last served as the President of SCBA in 2001-02.
He has served twice before that as well – in 1995–1996, 1997–1998.
The polls to elect the Executive Committee of SCBA including President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer will be held on May 16. The date for filing nomination for the same is May 9.
Senior Advocate Adish Aggarwala is the incumbent President of SCBA.
