Karnataka High Court stays FIR against KSBC members and BCI order for probe into misappropriation of funds

According to the complaint, records indicated that a total of ₹3.2 crore was expended on the conference held in Mysore. Allegedly, ₹70 lakh was designated for furniture and shamiyana for the conference, but the supplier responsible for these items was only paid ₹20 lakh.

Additionally, it was noted that ₹7.5 lakh was purportedly spent on the “musical night” at the conference, yet no bills were submitted to the KSBC for this purpose.

Moreover, nearly ₹78 lakh was recorded as expenditure on catering by Avni Enterprises. However, the complaint asserted that this entity did not provide catering services and that counterfeit bills were generated under the name of a friend of one of the accused.
