Good things about the University based on your personal experience

The best thing is the location of the college, it is amidst hills and the environment is pure and fresh.

It is really peaceful there, the teachers are very good and lastly, the seniors and classmates are very helpful.

Bad things about the University based on your personal experience

The location of the college is also a disadvantage as everything is far away from the college.

The placement is also not very good as only one batch has passed yet. Maybe in future the placement will be get better.

How’s the faculty?

The faculty at HPNLU is knowledgeable and well qualified in their respective subjects, they are also very helpful.

How’s the infrastructure? Mention some of the things that exist.

Campus infrastructure is not as par with other NLUs as it is in its nascent stage. However, the library is really good.

We have smart classrooms and a Wi-Fi enabled campus. There is a moot court hall and an auditorium. But there is a lack of sports facilities.

How’s your hostel experience?

I have never been to the hostel as my batch is having online classes since we joined college. There is a hostel for girls but there is no proper hostel for boys.

At present the boys hostel operates through a rented building and the permanent hostel is still under construction.

How are your peers?

My peers are really good, helpful, and friendly.

Seniors always try to connect to us and help us whenever we need them. And my classmates and friends are also very helpful and well-behaved.

What are some of the things you’d advise to a 1st year aspirant who enters your college?

There will be a lot of reading in this profession. Therefore, one should be prepared and be in the habit of reading.

Lastly, be prepared to work-hard, work-smart, and be organized.

All the best for your journey!
