Pratapgarh (UP), Mar 19 (PTI) Two persons, including a police constable, were killed in a head-on collision between their motorcycles here, police said on Saturday.
One person was also injured in the accident that occurred in Khampur village under Khandai police station area on Friday evening, they said.
Station House Officer (SHO) Satyendra Singh said Constable Pravesh Saroj (30), who was posted in Sultanpur district, had come home for Holi and was going somewhere on his motorcycle on Friday. His motorcycle collided head-on with another at the Pratapgarh-Patti road.
Pravesh was seriously injured in the accident along with Gautam (24) and Vinay (22), who were riding the other motorcycle, he said.
The three were taken to the hospital, where Pravesh and Anil were declared brought dead. The bodies have been sent for a post-mortem examination, the police said. PTI CORR NAV DIV DIV
