Course on International Investment Law by DNLU and Ministry of Commerce and Industry [Offline]: Register by Oct 20.

A double credit course on International Investment Law is being conducted by the Centre for Studies in International Trade and International Investment Laws (CITIL), DNLU, Jabalpur in collaboration with Centre for Trade and Investment Laws (CTIL), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India.

About CITIL, DNLU

The Centre for Studies in International Trade and Investment Laws is a research and learning Centre at DNLU, Jabalpur. The Centre aims to bring together the legal academics, professionals, students, researchers etc., with an objective of dissemination of knowledge and encouraging research in the various realms of International Trade Law and International Investment Laws.

The Centre is one of such initiatives of a blooming National Law University to expose the interested students, scholars and academics to this intricate field of law which has interconnected horizons with both domestic law and International Law.

About CTIL, Ministry of Commerce and Industry

The Centre for Trade and Investment Law (CTIL) was established to serve as a center of excellence in the field of international trade and investment law. It was officially inaugurated on 2016. CTIL’s establishment was a significant milestone in India’s efforts to strengthen its engagement with the global trading system and enhance its understanding of international trade and investment laws.

The Centre for Trade and Investment Law (CTIL) is a prestigious institution under the aegis of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. It serves as a vital hub for research, policy analysis, and capacity-building activities in the domains of international trade, investment, and related legal matters.

About the course

This double credit course on investment laws is a specialized educational offering being offered by the CITIL in collaboration with CTIL, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Govt of India under the aegis of WTO Chairs Programme, which represents a remarkable synergy of academic and practical expertise.

This unique partnership brings together the academic rigor of a university program with the real- world insights and resources. In such a course, participants will not only benefit from the comprehensive curriculum designed by legal scholars and experts but will also gain extensively from the discussions, debates, latest research, policy insights, and case studies and classroom teachings of the various experts from across India.
