How did you apply for the internship?
Since the CoVID lockdown was at its peak, I applied through the online mode of registration by the dint of a recommendation letter from my college.
I was selected after a process of documentation and other formalities.
First day formalities, infrastructure, first impression
Since everything was online, on the very 1st day I had a one to one conversation with my internship guide over a phone call.
The other formalities and commitment letter was completed through email, as there were all the judges that I had to communicate with, so I maintained good decorum and protocols.
Main Tasks
The main tasks basically included the in depth research of each topic and its subtopic, since the topic was extremely vast so the research had to be fresh and recent and of course authentic.
I added various case laws and statutory provisions which also required research.
The day to day task involved reading books and various articles on similar topics to get a better understanding of the work.
My research paper basically dealt with the dynamic phenomenon of global business, understanding the environment in which it operates, its reciprocity, it’s comparative study, relation between law and international business.
It further dealt with the Indian Contract Act, its perspectives, the scenario of global business and its impact on contract law.
The change in position of conventional Contract Act, e-contracts, their comparative study and its current situation in India.
Work Environment
The environment and the exposure was good enough for a 1st year student and I was treated with full respect.
Good Things
There were many Good things, specifically the way I was made to research and the broadness of topics that I was allocated and the kind of exposure that I received.
Bad Things
There weren’t any bad things about the internship.
Except that, during the lockdown it had to be online and I couldn’t get the chance to experience it physically.

The internship was strictly online. So everything I did was from home.
Anything else?
The working hours were flexible, the institute was strict with the deadlines.
I liked this a lot, but I was never scolded or anything.
They respected my time as well and I was also given a day’s sick leave, which is usually not granted during the internship.
