In the order passed by it today, the Court observed that citizens are confused and they want the High Court to intervene at every stage whenever there is a violation. It went on to clarify that once the court has already passed orders, it is for the government and its agencies to implement.
“Ironically its a failure of government and its agencies which now causes some vested interests to speak accusingly against the High Court, when, admittedly, stringent orders have been issued….If orders of the Court are refused to be, or failed to be, implemented by agencies, then it spells doom for the well enshrined traditions of democracy,“ the Court said in its order.
